It’s normal to put off making that lifestyle change until you have more time... until life is less hectic.

Why start something new when you don’t have the time to do it properly?

Hello, perfectionism, is that you lurking there?

Yes, it’s perfectionism that’s keeping you stuck, my friend.

After all, there is ALWAYS going to be something ‘more important’ demanding your time and preventing you from giving it 100%.

In which case, one of two things needs to happen.

You either need to make a serious adjustment to your life so that you have more time consistently (career change, help at home, give up something else)

OR

You need to get started despite the lack of time and chaos.

Because in reality, you don’t need that much time and you don’t need to give it 100% to work towards your goals (70% effort is good enough).

There are lots of ways to leverage your time so that you’re not spending hours in the kitchen or in the gym.

For example, batch cooking and eating leftovers, freezing stuff, recipe boxes, buying pre-chopped veg or pre-cooked pulses.

With the right method, support and a little time and effort, you can start making this lifestyle change one step at a time so that in 6 months time (yes, despite Christmas) you’ll be much closer to your comfortable weight and full of confidence, wearing those beautiful clothes.

The longer you delay, the more difficult it will be to get started.
