Is Eating 1200kcal A Day Worth It.....

Now... I don’t know about you.... BUT 1200 Calories could more often than not be my Weekend Brekky, let alone the expected Energy Intake of my entire day 😅
Most of the Women I Chat with who are currently 'Tracking' their Intake at 1200kcal are not only pretty miserable, they are not even close to achieving their desired Weight Loss or Body Composition Goals either. This lack of progress is naturally, extremely frustrating & doesn’t make sense on a physiological level... 1200kcal is likely to be less than most people's BMR (your energy requirements to simply breathe & be alive) let alone accounting for all the additional activity & movement they would do on the daily, right? Reality is, the attempt to grit your teeth & survive off the BARE minimum Calories throughout the Week increases the chances of Over-Consumption on the Weekend when the Over-Restriction gets too much... Which is totally understandable. You are not a Robot. This endless cycle of Over-Restriction throughout the Week & Over-Consumption at the Weekend (or when the Over-Restriction just gets too much), leads to an average Calorie intake that is much higher than the perceived 1200kcal/Day. Plus, you not only suffer throughout the Week nibbling at Lettuce Leaves, sacrificing your Social Life & salivating over everyone else’s Food... But you also make zero progress. Just a tad deflating? In almost all cases, it’s going to be in your best interest to increase your Calorie Target/Energy Intake to a much more appropriate level. You know... One that actually supports your Energy Levels, Nutritional Requirements, Social Life & one that you can actually stick to consistently (without wanting to curl up in a corner). If you’re stuck in this cycle & need some help, (please) don’t go looking for another 1200kcal ‘Meal Plan’. You know how that plays out & it's not worth it. Simply send me an enquiry to tee up a 1:1 Coaching Consultation. Let’s set you up with a Plan of Action that you actually enjoy (& that doesn’t involve Over-Restriction or endless hours of Cardio).
