I don't diet...I just eat according to my goals

Here’s my 2 favourite pieces of information that will change the way you think about “dieting” and/or food FOREVER...
1.) It’s not a diet. You’re making a lifestyle change. You’re eating “according to your new goals.” Seems like a subtle change of words that means the same thing, but people will respect it a hell of a lot more AND mentally you’re constantly reminded of your goals. Whereas the word “diet” is generally associated with something of short term. A temporary fix if you will.
2.) EAT FOR PURPOSE. What is this food going to do for me? Will it get me closer to my goals? As in... I need “X” amount of carbs and fat for energy today. I also need “X” amount of protein for recovery and for bigger harder looking muscles. Is this food that I’m looking at right now going to help hit my goals!? THIS MENTALITY IS EVERYTHING.
Once you have purpose behind your macros, this is when your results become automatic.
You understand exactly what to eat. When to eat it. And why you’re eating it.
And again, it’s never about being on a “diet.”
It’s about setting goals.
